Operators in most sectors are concerned when announcements are made regarding amendments to the legislation under which they trade.  Alchemy Communications was recently appointed by an independent radio production group to assist with their lobbying efforts in the face of new legislation. Our role involved working closely with this group to secure a key amendment to proposed legislation, in this case, the Broadcasting Bill.

Our expertise ensured that the this group was provided the opportunity to put their views on public record and influence the key debates arising as the Bill progressed through the Irish Seanad. Our role included advising on when and how to submit proposed amendments to the bill, editing documentation, advice on lobbing key political spokespeople, and ensuring that the concerns of the group were communicated effectively to the legislators and the relevant Minister.

Our priority was to ensure that our client presented its arguements clearly, factually and persuasively.

The guidance provided by Alchemy Communications to the client resulted in their concerns being reflected in the debates on the legislation and ultimately, in a key amendment to the Bill, at this stage.
