Sheila Terry is Head of Public Affairs and brings a wealth of political and public affairs experience to Alchemy Communications’ clients.

Previously Fine Gael party Seanad spokesperson on Justice, Equality & Women’s Rights and  Social and Family Affairs, she has an in-depth understanding of how the political and executive systems work at both local and national levels. Sheila was a member of Fingal County Council throughout the 1990’s and served as Chairperson for one year.   From 2002 to 2007 she was a member of Seanad Eireann. She retired from political life in 2007.

In addition, Sheila has considerable direct experience advising and representing NGOs and community groups lobbying for funding or campaigning for changes in legislation or practices.  She is a Board member of the BASE Enterprise Centre in Mulhuddart, Ballet Ireland, Chernobyl Children’s Appeal, and a former Board member of Blanchardstown Area Partnership and the Draoicht Theatre, among others.
